Intero Biosystems won TechCrunch Startup Battlefield 2026 at Disrupt 2026 in San Francisco. The Denver company, which grew out of University of Michigan research, beat 19 other finalists picked from 200 entrants to win the top trophy and $100,000 in cash it does not have to repay or share ownership for.
