UK limits how much money British people living abroad can give to political parties

The government is stopping British people living overseas from donating more than £100,000 a year to political parties. This follows a billionaire in Thailand giving Reform UK £12m last year. New rules will also ban donations using cryptocurrency and tighten limits on company donations. Parliament debates these changes on 14 July.
