Chance of October rate rise jumps after higher prices

Traders see a 34% chance the US central bank lifts rates in October, up from 20% before September price data, says CBA expert Samara Hammoud. Prices without food and energy rose 0.3%, above 0.2% expected. That can keep loans costly. I doubt one month settles it.
