Big Banks Earned More Thanks to Busy Markets
JPMorgan and Goldman Sachs made more profit for July to September 2026, beating expectations, the Wall Street Journal reported Oct. 13. Like a shop earning extra in a rush, fees from trading and company deals helped cushion the banks while high rates squeezed lending for savers and borrowers. I’m skeptical this narrow win tells us much about loan health ahead.
