Gold and silver prices slipped on Sept. 14

Gold fell 1.3% to $4,310 a troy ounce — the standard weight for gold — in New York on Sept. 14, while silver dropped 1.6% to $63.513, the Wall Street Journal reported. Those are nearest-delivery prices. I see it as normal day-to-day wobble for savers, not proof of lasting worth.
