National keeps retirement age the same

National has released its spending plan, with no specific plan to raise the age to get NZ Super. Prime Minister Christopher Luxon said all parties would need to agree, and they do not. It follows his May 2026 promise to take a retirement-age policy to the election. National says its view is unchanged.
