National's fiscal plan includes no rise in super age

National has released its fiscal plan with no specific proposal to raise the superannuation eligibility age. Prime Minister Christopher Luxon said change requires a political consensus which does not currently exist. It follows his May 2026 promise to take a policy on lifting the retirement age to the election. National says its stance has not changed.
