Top U.S. Court Hears Oil Companies' Bid to End Boulder Lawsuit

America's highest court heard a request from oil companies Exxon and Suncor Energy to stop a climate lawsuit brought by the city and county of Boulder, Colorado. Arguments were heard in the week of Oct. 7, 2026. The outcome could affect more than two dozen similar lawsuits against oil companies.
