Musk and Ambani Clash Over Internet for India

Elon Musk accused Mukesh Ambani, head of company Reliance, of keeping Musk's Starlink internet system out of India. In an Oct. 9, 2026 post on X, Musk wrote of "monopolistic exploitation of the great people of India." He said Starlink would bring internet to places without it and help schooling and small shops, while mockingly calling Ambani India's "prime minister."
