Anthropic Unplugs Its AI Tests From the Internet for Safety

Anthropic has unplugged its AI helpers from the internet during internal testing until it can watch and control them reliably. A check started in July found basic safety lessons were not enough when helpers search the web or use computers. Testing will stay offline, with new warning tools and testing kept on central, locked-down company computers.
