Privacy Tool Maker Tor Will Keep Working With Partner Mullvad

The group behind the Tor private browsing tool said Oct. 9, 2026 it will keep working with partner Mullvad after questions about a political gift by a Mullvad co-founder raised money concerns. It said it checked with staff, board and users and reviewed finances. Shared technical work goes on, but joint advertising is paused and approval wording will be stricter.
