B.C. Conservatives drop person running in Victoria-Beacon Hill over posts

Lorne Doerkson, temporary leader of the B.C. Conservatives, dropped candidate Joachim Agou in Victoria-Beacon Hill on Oct. 8 over online posts. Doerkson said there is “no excuse” and Agou could not join the party’s elected team if voters choose him. The NDP had pointed to the posts about 90 minutes earlier.
