Trump Approves Shooting Execution for Fort Hood Killer Nidal Hasan

President Donald Trump approved death by firing squad — shooting — for Nidal Hasan, the former Army psychiatrist, a mental-health doctor, found guilty of killing 13 people in the 2009 Fort Hood shooting, the Pentagon said. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth recommended it. The Army set the execution for Dec. 3 at Fort Hood, Texas.
