One Company Now Owns CNN and CBS

Paramount Skydance finished buying Warner Bros. Discovery on Oct 6, 2026, for about $110 billion counting borrowed money. The new combined company is called Skydance Corporation. That means CNN and CBS News now share one owner, along with HBO, CBS, DC Studios, Paramount+ and HBO Max. How the two news teams will work together is still undecided.
