Tapo Update Lets Two Programming Languages Use the Same Connection

Tapo version 0.11.1 adds a standard connection, called ApiClient, for talking to devices using the TPAP method, according to GitHub Releases. Both Rust and Python programs can now use it, like one shared remote working in two languages.
