One small party could decide who runs the country

The Opportunity Party is at 7% in the 1News Verian poll from 6 October. TVNZ says that means eight MPs, or seats in Parliament. National (35) plus ACT and NZ First would have 58 seats. Labour, the Greens and Te Pāti Māori would have 54. Neither reaches 61 to govern, so the Opportunity Party would decide.
