Labour ahead in new poll, smaller party could decide result

Labour is ahead on 30.8% to National's 25.9% in the RNZ-Reid Research poll from 6 October, according to BusinessDesk. The Opportunity Party is on 5.5%, enough to hold the deciding vote on who can form government, RNZ reported. National campaign chair Simeon Brown said the election will be close.
