Google Tests AI Assistant That Calls Family for You

Google is testing letting its Gemini assistant call family and friends, not just businesses, according to an Oct. 5 look inside app code reported by Android Authority and The Verge. The code shows a setup screen for Gemini Calling with the example: 'Call Mom and tell her I will be 15 minutes late.' No launch is confirmed.
