Lucid Made Fewer Electric Cars as Fewer People Bought Them

Lucid Motors made 2,954 electric cars in July through September 2026, its lowest three-month total since January through March 2025 and its third drop in a row, figures out October 5, 2026 show. The company said it purposely made fewer cars to match slow sales after having trouble finding buyers for its first two expensive models.
