Spain to hold early election on 29 November

Reuters reported Spain's prime minister Pedro Sánchez announced on 5 October a general election, where voters pick a new government, for 29 November, earlier than planned. Reuters said Spain's parliament had rejected his emergency housing rules the week before. The Guardian said right-wing parties, those on the political right, voted them down.
