Spain to hold early national vote on 29 November

Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez said on 5 October Spain will hold an early national election on 29 November, in a morning TV address. Congress, Spain's parliament, had rejected housing rules from his minority government, which lacks votes to pass laws alone, after weeks of mass protests over housing costs. Voters will now choose who can gather enough support to govern.
