Brazil Needs a Second Vote as Bolsonaro Leads Lula
Brazil will hold a second presidential vote on 25 October after no one won outright on 4 October. Flávio Bolsonaro, 45 and son of jailed former president Jair Bolsonaro, got 47.3%. Current president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, seeking a fourth term, got 44.8%. The close result leaves three weeks of efforts to win allies to decide the presidency.
