Videos Filmed Under Skirts at Oktoberfest Ride Spread Online

Over 32,000 videos of Munich Oktoberfest's Teufelsrad, a fast-spinning ride called the Devil's Wheel, were found on Meta apps alone, Süddeutsche Zeitung found, some watched millions of times. The spin can flip up riders' traditional dirndl skirts, leaving them exposed while people film. Filming under clothes without permission, called upskirting, has been illegal in Germany since 2020.
