Hundreds in Mississippi Protest Plan to Redraw Voting Maps

Hundreds gathered across from Mississippi's Capitol Thursday evening to oppose Republican plans to redraw election maps, the lines that decide who votes where, in their favor, then marched to the building chanting 'Leave our maps alone' and 'Whose maps? Our maps.' It happened during the last of eight public meetings on new voting boundaries, held in Jackson.
