Two Illinois Protesters Sue Media Figure Over False Protest Claims

Kyle Frankovich and Maureen Foody sued pro-Trump media personality Benny Johnson. They say he told false statements that hurt their reputations, calling them 'left-wing terrorists' who attacked officers after police held them in October 2025 outside an ICE immigration office in Broadview, Illinois. NPR said both were let go with no charges.
