
Firms That Own Britain's Trains Shared Millions With Bosses and Owners
Leaders of Britain's three firms that own trains and rent them to operators, like landlords, shared £3.5m in pay last year while sending almost £400m in profits to owners. Porterbrook gave chief Mary Grant £1.44m and paid £80m; Eversholt gave outgoing chief Mary Kenny £1.33m and paid £200m; Angel Trains gave chief Malcolm Brown £700,000 and paid £111m.
