U.S. Sending Large Warships to Waters Near Iran

A U.S. official told Al Jazeera on Oct. 2 that the U.S. is sending three warships that carry warplanes and two teams built to land troops to waters around Iran, ready by November. The Roosevelt group and the Makin Island group carrying 2,000 Marines left San Diego for the Middle East.
