Cancelling a New York Subscription Gets Easier

New York City's click-to-cancel rule started October 1, 2026. Businesses with subscriptions that renew by themselves, or ongoing service plans, must let people cancel the same way they signed up, and must clearly explain the costs and how to cancel.
