Samsung phones now cost at least $100 more

Samsung raised prices for its Galaxy S26 phones by at least $100 on its website Oct. 1. The S26 with 256GB of space now costs $1,000, the S26+ $1,200 and the Ultra $1,400, rising to $2,000 for 1TB, the largest space, after a $200 increase. Samsung blamed pricier memory and storage parts after its phone business lost money in April-June.
