
How Burnham would change pensions
Burnham said Labour would keep the pension triple lock — the current rule for yearly rises — until the end of this Parliament. From April 2030, he told Labour conference in Liverpool, pensions would rise with prices or 2.5%, plus extras to match wages. He said savings would fund a National Care Service in England.
