Gas prices dip now but rise for winter

September and October 2026 Henry Hub gas fell 1.29% to 2.758 and 1.16% to 2.819 on Sept. 28, CME Group shows, while November rose 1.00% to 3.137. Think of these as pre-order prices for US gas. I read that as cheap now, pricier for early winter — which could affect stored gas and heating bills if it lasts.
