SK Hynix, a major chip company, plans massive US stock listing

South Korea's SK Hynix will sell stock on the Nasdaq exchange in the US by July 2026, aiming to raise up to $29 billion. The company already trades in Korea and Europe. A US listing lets American pension funds and investment funds buy its shares, and helps it qualify for US stock indexes that many people invest in through retirement accounts.
