Malaysia Is Sending About 1,500 Rohingya People Back to Myanmar

Malaysia started sending nearly 1,500 Rohingya back to Myanmar on September 29, 2026. Leaders in Kuala Lumpur say all agreed to go and will be safe. They are part of about 125,000 Rohingya in Malaysia left with no citizenship by Myanmar, returning to a country at war with itself since army leaders took power in 2021.
