London station face checks made no arrests

British Transport Police photographed and checked over 500,000 faces in 18 trials at London train stations between February and July 2026, using computers to compare faces with a wanted list. Records released to the public show no arrests and one wrong match. The aim was catching lawbreakers and people breaking court rules.
