Woman Wakes After Shark Attack at Popular Sydney Beach

Leah Stewart has regained consciousness after surgery following a shark attack on June 13 at Coogee Beach in Sydney. The shark bit her about 30 metres from shore, causing severe injuries to her left leg and arms. Doctors amputated her arm. She remains in critical condition at the hospital. The attack has renewed focus on beach safety.
