Profits for 500 big U.S. companies are expected up 29.1% for July-September 2026, FactSet via MarketWatch Sept. 27 reports. Chipmaker Micron could pass rival Nvidia as the main driver, like one player scoring most points. Without Micron, growth is 24%. Savers: much rests on its Sept. 30 update.
