Shanghai Robot Sheds a Tear When Asked

Yanxi Technology's Yansyn-X2 released a visible tear after a demonstrator asked, 'Can you shed tears for me?' Video from the 2026 Inclusion Conference in Shanghai shows the tear rolling down its face. The robot, made by the Ningbo-based company, stays in one spot like a shop dummy, but turns its head, follows people with its gaze and waves its arms.
