Pope tells big crowd in France to face abuse by priests

Pope Leo XIV told estimated 150,000 people at a outdoor church service near Lourdes on Sept. 27 that healing abuse by priests requires facing 'deep wounds, infidelities and painful errors.' The message is central to his four-day visit to France, the first visit by a pope there in 18 years, after at least 330,000 children were harmed over seven decades.
