Flaw in Avast antivirus could let an attacker take over your PC

CVE-2025-13032 affects Avast and AVG Antivirus before 25.3 on Windows. The part that safely tests suspicious files checked a file description length twice. If an attacker changed it between checks, too much data was copied into restricted system memory, allowing someone already on the computer to take full control.
