New York Says Event-Betting Site Acted as Illegal Casino

New York sued Polymarket US on Sept. 24, 2026. Gov. Kathy Hochul and Attorney General Letitia James say the company, legally called QCX LLC, let people bet money on future events like an unlicensed casino. Officials did not say what punishment they want; the court filing will list what fines or limits New York is asking for.
