Polish Police Hold Man After Monastery Attack Kills Priest

Polish police held a Ukrainian man after a knife attack at a Benedictine abbey, a Catholic monastery, in southern Poland killed a Polish priest and hurt four others, Reuters reported Sept. 24. The attacker went after priests and people praying. Police have not said why. Investigators must check his right to be in Poland, save witness stories and decide charges.
