Venezuela's Temporary Leader Says Voting Will Happen, Gives No Date

Venezuela’s temporary leader, Delcy Rodriguez, told the UN on Sept. 24, 2026, that Venezuelans will vote to restore full democracy, but gave no date. She said talks with rival groups have started and public bodies would run a fair vote open to all, on timing Venezuelans choose.
