Supreme Court Stops Post Office Rules That Would Limit Mail Voting

The Supreme Court on Sept. 14, 2026, stopped the Trump administration from using the post office to make voting by mail harder for the midterm elections, NPR reported. The ruling means post office rules cannot limit mail ballots for those elections.
