UK May Have to Rely on US for AI, Warns Osborne

Britain risks relying on America for its technology, George Osborne warned. The former finance minister, now in charge of country deals at AI company OpenAI, told Somerset's Big Brue festival that local opponents of new computer warehouses — buildings that power AI — are holding Britain back while the US builds them in Ohio, Georgia and Michigan.
