The Nasdaq, a basket of mainly tech stocks, rose 2% to near a record on Sept. 21, 2026, Yahoo Finance reported. Meta jumped 11% and AMD gained 8%. For savers and 401(k) holders, that means a few big names lift returns but leave nest eggs exposed if they stall. I see wider participation, not just price, as the test.
