Davey says split on the right could help Lib Dems beat the Tories

Liberal Democrat leader Ed Davey said a split between the Conservatives and Reform UK, rivals for right-wing voters, gives his party a “historic opportunity” to finish ahead of the Conservatives at the next general election to choose the government. The BBC reported his remarks on 21 September. He said the right was divided as never before in 200 years.
