More deaths than births

Treasury's seventh Intergenerational Report — its look ahead — out 21 September 2026, says deaths will pass births in the 2060s for the first time. Growth slows to 0.9%, average babies to 1.34. Chalmers launched it at ANU. Japan and Germany are already there. I've heard the sunny talk; the bill still has to be paid.
