Why the Senate still hasn't set crypto rules
Senators voted 49-50 to stop a new crypto law moving forward, Yahoo Finance reported Sept. 17. The law would have created one set of rules for buying, selling and storing digital coins — one rulebook for the game. The Wall Street Journal reported Sept. 20 the plan failed. For ordinary savers, nothing changes: trading sites keep following the old regulators.
