Nvidia Leader Says AI Will Not End World by 2030

Nvidia leader Jensen Huang told CBS Sunday Morning there is a “0% chance” artificial intelligence, computer systems that learn from data, will wipe out humanity by 2030. In the interview published Sept. 20, 2026, with correspondent Jo Ling Kent, he called predictions of human extinction irresponsible, unscientific “doomsday narratives.”
