Liberal Democrat MP arrested on suspicion of assault

Cameron Thomas, a Liberal Democrat MP, was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of assault and controlling behaviour, then released on bail. His party removed him from its parliamentary group—the informal team—but he stays as an elected MP. He is presumed innocent.
